I have made and tried many hummus recipes, and this one takes the cake! It is so delicious. You will never believe this is made from chickpeas.

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • ⅛ tsp sea salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Throw all ingredients into a food processor, except for the chocolate chips, and blend. You may need to occasionally stop the food processor and scrape down the sides with a spatula to ensure even blending.
  2. Once blended, stir in chocolate chips.
  3. Store in refrigerator. Hummus can be served with pretzels, fruit, or eaten by the spoonful!
