
The Best Cookie Dough Hummus
I have made and tried many hummus recipes, and this one takes the cake! It is so delicious. You will never believe this is made from chickpeas.
Equipment
- Food processor
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- ⅛ tsp sea salt
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Throw all ingredients into a food processor, except for the chocolate chips, and blend. You may need to occasionally stop the food processor and scrape down the sides with a spatula to ensure even blending.
- Once blended, stir in chocolate chips.
- Store in refrigerator. Hummus can be served with pretzels, fruit, or eaten by the spoonful!

Okay I’ll be honest, 1/2 cup of chocolate chips was not enough to satisfy my sweet tooth so probably added 3/4 cups…but they were dark chocolate chips so it doesn’t even count right?!
Anyway, so easy to make and a great treat to bring to potlucks with a doubled recipe! I served with graham cracker sticks!
